If your child will be out of school for any reason, please call the attendance line. This lets administrators and your child's teacher know so they don't have to call your house to find out why your child is not in school.

Canyon Creek Elementary is a part of the Orange School District and is dedicated to providing your child with a solid educational foundation.
The Canyon Creek Network gives parents access to their child's classroom and content made available by teachers, administrators, staff and the PTO. Additionally, it's a great place for students, administrators, parents and fundraising groups to communicate, chat and network.

Lost and Found
PLEASE CHECK THE LOST AND FOUND RACK!!! We plan to donate items left over the Winter Break!!!!
Our collection of coats, sweatshirts and jackets continues to grow. During conference week we had the collection on display in the main hallway and many items were found, but many still remain. We plan to donate any items still left at Winter Break to Goodwill. If you child is missing items, please check the lost and found rack in the cafeteria.
Inclement Weather & Emergency Closures
When school closure decisions are made, the district instantly publishes the information through their web site.
Television and radio stations get their information from the district, but sometimes their broadcast of updates is delayed. If you have internet access, the districts website is the first place you should check for weather-related closure information. The site is available 24 hours a day. This information can also be reached via the bookmarks on this network.
Please note, that unless it is pouring down rain, we go out for recess each day at lunch hour. Please be sure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather.
