Welcome to the Canyon Creek Network!
I have been Principal at Canyon Creek Elementary for four wonderful years and am as proud of our community now as I was my first year on the job.
Canyon Creek is an exceptional school with over 500 students that come from rich, academically and culturally diverse backgrounds. We have a strong focus on academics, and we also deeply believe in the need to teach the 'whole' child. Our teachers and support staff are dedicated, caring professionals.
One of the most important components of an effective school is the partnership formed between educators and parents working together for the best interest of children. Canyon Creek is proud of its rich tradition of highly supportive parents. Through teamwork, open communication and a dedication to continuous improvement, we strive to make this school a place that fosters a love of learning.
We are a community of learners, and strive to provide diverse educational opportunities. Our goal is to develop the skills, attitudes, knowledge and character children need to reach their individual potential and create a foundation for life long learning.
In order to give each child the best opportunity for success, we ask that we keep children at the forefront in all that we do. If we accept and honor the pledge to keep children first, then it follows that their education and success is our number one priority.
